Student life at SYJH is about more than what happens in the classroom. We want students to discover their interests, build friendships, develop confidence, and find meaningful ways to be part of our school community. Through athletics, clubs, activities, leadership opportunities, and school events, students have many ways to get involved and make their junior high experience their own.

We believe students are more connected to school when they have a place to belong and something to be excited about. Getting involved gives students opportunities to grow as teammates, leaders, problem-solvers, and friends while creating memories along the way. Whether a student is stepping onto the field, joining a club, participating in an event, or trying something new for the first time, we encourage every student to find their place, get connected, and make the most of their time at Seymour Junior High.
